Gifford Art Group’s 40th Birthday Current and past members enjoyed a celebratory lunch at the village’s Tweeddale Arms Hotel to mark 40 years. A cake was cut by two founding members Susan Galbraith and Ro Henderson. There were press cuttings and photographs on display showing past exhibitions and outings. Shane Duff, whose wife Dorothy was a founder member of the Group, and Molly Glover, who has made a wonderful contribution to the group over many years, were made honorary members.

During the COVID-19 pandemic Gifford Art Group were unable to meet in the Village Hall. The group, however, were kept busy during lockdown by our tutor Georgina Bown. She set up weekly projects on a wide range of topics with all contact being via email. A selection of images from the projects can be found here.
